A little note about accuracy + reading tabs

Spotify Basic Pitch detects overlapping notes and their timing directly from your recording. Clear solo guitar works best; other instruments in a full song can also appear in the tab. Balanced mode requires a detected attack and skips notes inferred only from leftover sustained sound. Strict mode raises the attack threshold, which can miss quiet notes; Detailed mode includes sustained-note estimates, which can add false notes. Picked guitar follows the strongest new plucks while keeping clear multi-note chords. It can simplify quiet notes, double-stops or softer chord tones; use Balanced for fuller chords. Trained guitar uses a selector learned from paired real guitar recordings to accept or reject candidate notes. It was evaluated on solo acoustic guitar; results on full songs, electric guitar, and distortion are unverified. Note lengths and fingerings remain estimates. Compare the options instantly using Note Detail. Audio Channel selects the stereo mix, left, or right channel for analysis; changing it requires generating again. Set the tuning and capo to match your recording; changing these or the fret range remaps the captured notes without another analysis. These settings do not retune the audio. Fingerings are chosen together to avoid putting two simultaneous notes on one string and to limit hand stretches. This is an estimated transcription: dense mixes, distortion, fast picking, and bends can still create errors. It does not recover the performer's exact fingering or techniques. Numbers indicate frets; top line is string 1. Banjo uses Open G (gDGBD), with the short fifth string open only. Horizontal spacing follows time on a consistent grid; the t row shows seconds from the clip start. ~ marks a sustained note; R and dots on the r row mark rests when no tab notes sound. Chords share columns. This is time-based tab, not beat or measure notation. Playback keeps the detected timing, including leading and trailing silence. Unplayable notes are omitted and counted below the tab.
